Are you looking to complete your supervised psychotherapy hours?

I would love to have you!

I am always looking for dynamic, compassionate individuals to join my team of interns. I have extensive experience supervising students in both academic and clinical settings. If you are seeking supervised clinical hours from an experienced psychologist, please contact me to learn more about how we might work together. I offer individual supervision, group supervision (when feasible), client referrals, and office space (as needed) to interns working towards a psychotherapy license or graduate degree in a mental health field.

As a clinician, I am dedicated to improving the lives of my clients through a strong therapeutic relationship and evidence-based practice. I place an emphasis on understanding a client within their cultural context, and on enhancing my own cultural competence with each new therapeutic relationship I encounter. I use techniques from a range of therapeutic modalities, am flexible in my application of these techniques, and fundamentally believe that secure, connected relationships are the foundation for change. I look forward to hearing from you.

As a supervisor, I shift between the roles of teacher, counsellor, and consultant to provide my interns with a comprehensive supervisory experience. My experience has taught me that this approach most effectively meets the needs of a broad range of supervisees. My theoretical expertise is in the areas of interpersonal/relational, cognitive-behavioral, and multicultural/feminist therapies. These approaches are key perspectives from which I offer insight and guidance to interns. I also prioritize your professional growth and offer guidance on building your independent practice, networking with other professionals, and marketing yourself as a clinician.
